I led a project to develop a highly portable speaker concept for group listening on the go.
The form was developed to fit comfortably in most pockets and be carried easily in one hand alongside a phone. I used a silicone band around the exterior to provide comfort, gripability, acoustic sealing, button membranes, and impact protection. The grille pattern creates good acoustic permeability over the drivers and gradually fades to smaller openings to better hide the enclosure underneath.
